Taking The Good News To The Tribes

Current statistics show, and our team members have seen first hand, how much of an orphaned heart First Nations people have. The poverty, addiction, broken homes, domestic violence, lack of education and resources, and complete abandonment by the U.S. government leave very little hope for the generations to come and no trust for the Church who has wounded and abandoned them as well.

OHI has systems in place to establish Empowerment Centers for sustainability after visiting each Reservation. To equip their leaders for continued healing and economic development strategies, to maintain their status as a self-supporting, sovereign nation.

Athena Pitsikoulis is our Domestic Missionary Evangelist who is traveling to over 8 States and over 8  Reservation from March thru November of this year. Athena's mother was a full blooded Shasta Native American. Athena has been a member of the Shasta tribe and lived on several reservations as an adult. She will be teaching in Churches  and Tent Revivals to Pastors and Tribal members on how to defeat an Orphan Spirit so they can live the abundant life that Jesus came to give. God gave her a powerful vision over 30 years ago that she would be speaking life into others, bringing the Good News of His love to every tongue, tribe, and nation in the USA. She's been given Matthew 5:9-13 to proclaim the loving nature of the Father's Heart for all First Nations people. By the blood of the Lamb and the word of her testimony, Athena has overcome battles with childhood trauma, alcohol & drug addiction, sexual abuse, and domestic violence. Now she's on a mission with Jesus to set others free from an Orphaned Heart by showing them His love.

A BIBLICAL CASE FOR DOMESTIC MISSIONS

Missionary Support is a team effort...

"If you are not able to go, send someone other to your place" (O.J. Smith)

1 Samuel 17:17-20

17 Now Jesse said to his son David, “Take this ephah[a] of roasted grain and these ten loaves of bread for your brothers and hurry to their camp. 18 Take along these ten cheeses to the commander of their unit. See how your brothers are and bring back some assurance[b] from them. 19 They are with Saul and all the men of Israel in the Valley of Elah, fighting against the Philistines.”

20 Early in the morning David left the flock in the care of a shepherd, loaded up and set out, as Jesse had directed. He reached the camp as the army was going out to its battle positions, shouting the war cry.

This passage teaches us the good manner of all age to make the fight and that is always of activity.

Here we see the soldiers of earth on the first line of battle, in direct contact with hostile then we see the second rank of the support that consists of David, who visits the field bringing with him of the supplies coming from Jesse, intended to can to the physical and emotional needs of the soldiers.

This technic is as applicable in the enterprise of the mission.

The needs physics, emotional, spiritual, material and financial of the earth soldiers (the missionaries) are provided by Christ's body. Some have the pleasure to encourage the missionaries by visits like David made it, to bring back the reports of the field to the other members of the body for the intercessions.

Many people find joy and fulfillment in giving material support as Jesse's example by making a free will offering to the Lord.

You have the opportunity through Orphaned Heart International to "Give A Better Life" to hurting peoples who were rejected and abandoned and are now suffering from the trauma of an "Orphaned Heart." You can actively participate in this USA missionary work. like David or like Jesse did, just by giving something.

Maybe sacrificing something that cost for you dearly. Or the things which you don't need or use anymore which just clutter the house.

Our USA missions is ready to reach the un-reached peoples with a focus on Native Americans. The entire team is comprised of indigenous Native Americans with a heart to reach all Indian nations, tribes and tongues. These Native American peoples will listen to their message because it comes from their own kind.

You can help Orphaned Heart Intl prayerfully, materially and financially.

Right now, OHI is collecting computers, clothes, mobile phones, laptop, and other things you want to give for the impoverished Native American tribes Athena has been ministering to this summer who are living in Arizona, California, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota plus widows and orphans she met at churches and tent revivals along her journey. In August 2024, a regional distribution center is being set up in Carnegie, OK under the leadership of Orphaned Heart Int'l Native American Team Leaders Curtis and Lynn Munoz.
