We bless the name of the Almighty God for granting us great success, good health and safe journey mercies throughout this mission, Uganda Nursing School Bwindi hope fellowship is one of our fastest growing fellowships in the south-western part of Uganda this is where Mr. Denis Mukwatanise serves as the school Administrator and our Fellowship Patron, and it’s mainly comprised of Nursing and Midwifery Students which makes it a paramount area for our healing ministry.
A team of two people from orphaned heart ministries travelled from Kampala to Bwindi on the 15/03/2018 and reached on the morning of 16/03//2018, they found places of accommodation and took a rest in preparation for evening ministry.
On the evening of 16/03/2018 the OHM team managed to meet with the fellowship members during their final practices, this helped the team to bond with the other students and the fellowship members and it was such an amazing session, then later we concluded with prayers .
On Saturday 16/03/2018 the OHM team met with all Hope Fellowship members and other well wishers for a one day retreat. The retreat was aimed at empowering and equipping all the hope fellowship members with the Healing of the Orphaned Heart message using our teaching manuals. The retreat stated with praises and worship moments and then our first sharing about strongholds in life was by Paul Tibeijuka our East Africa Mission’s Coordinator and later we had another sharing by Louis Lakitari about the power of forgiveness, we later conducted group inner healing sessions,
In the afternoon session we begun with the fellowship members giving testimonies about how the fellowship has helped them build their esteem we later had praises and worship that ushered us into a moment of sharing by the school chaplain who shared about the role of the Holy Spirit in our healing ministry and he went ahead to commissioned us for the evening musical concert.
At around 7:30Pm the fellowship musical concert begun under the theme: John 8:36 WHOM THE SON SETS FREE IS FREE INDEED (breaking wrongful soul ties) all started with prayer and amazing praises and worships led by the fellowship members and we had special performances by various people and later had our guest preacher who was the Diocesan youth coordinator of Kanungu District, concluded with a group inner healing prayer for braking wrongful soul ties.
The OHM team was able to attend church service with the Bwindi community hospital staff, patients and the Nursing school students, and great thanks were extended to the ministry for the great work it’s doing of impacting the students lives positively with the love of Christ.
In the afternoon Paul Tibeijuka our mission’s coordinator was able to meet with the fellowship committee members, to discuss the very best way forward how the ministry can empower more their fellowship so as they can be able to reached out to more people with the orphaned heart healing message, by the grace of God this meeting was a success and the fellowship committee promised to produce more great results the Lord being their helper.
On the very evening the OHM team boarded the bus back to Kampala to travel all night and by 10:00am they arrived in Mukono. We thank God for the team’s safe journey mercies and for the provisions he has always given us through our ministry sponsors and thank the team for the dedication towards serving God through this ministry.
